There’s a reason cedar has remained a popular roofing choice for generations, it brings warmth, texture, and a rustic elegance that instantly elevates a home’s exterior.
While traditional cedar offers a classic look, modern alternatives like Brava composite shakes deliver that same character with far greater longevity and virtually no maintenance.

What Makes Brava® Composite Shingles Different?
Brava shingles are composite roofing tiles engineered to look exactly like natural roofing materials — slate, cedar shake, and clay tile — without the weight, fragility, or ongoing maintenance. Crafted from recycled materials and infused with proprietary pigmentation technology, Brava shingles offer vibrant color options, Class A fire ratings, and extreme durability — all in a lightweight design that installs faster and lasts longer.
Why Homeowners Choose Brava® Composite Shingles
- Authentic Appearance: Each profile (Slate, Shake, and Tile) is meticulously designed to replicate the texture and dimensionality of the real thing.
- Lightweight and Strong: Up to 65% lighter than natural alternatives, making it easier to install on most roof structures.
- Impact and Fire Resistant: Rated for Class 4 impact resistance and Class A fire protection.
- Fade-Resistant Color: Proprietary coloring technology ensures rich, UV-resistant finishes.
Eco-Friendly: Made from post-consumer recycled materials and fully recyclable at the end of its lifecycle.
What Makes Brava® Different?
Brava shingles stand out in three powerful ways:
Handcrafted Authenticity
Each shingle features a unique texture and profile that mimics the randomness and beauty of natural materials.
Superior Durability
Resistant to cracking, warping, pests, hail, and mold — even under extreme weather conditions.
Unlimited Color Options
Custom color blending and rich multi-color options available to match any design vision.
