Your Trusted Deckorators Certified Professional
When it comes to building your outdoor living space, not all deck contractors are created equal. At Bak Brothers, we’ve earned the prestigious Deckorators Certified Professional designation—an exclusive credential that unlocks unique benefits including access to a 25-year Removal & Replacement warranty that ordinary contractors simply cannot offer.
Since 1995, we’ve been Chicagoland’s trusted partner for premium home improvements, and our certification represents the highest level of deck building expertise available in the market.
What Makes a Deckorators Certified Professional Different?
Exclusive 25-Year Removal & Replacement Warranty This industry-leading warranty is available only for decks built by Certified Professionals—no other contractor in Chicagoland can offer this protection because they lack the certification credentials.
Factory-Direct Training & Support Our team receives hands-on training from Deckorators experts, mastering installation techniques and gaining direct access to engineering support when technical challenges arise. We also have access to the complete product line, including specialty items unavailable to general contractors.
Verified Quality Standards Certified Pros undergo regular evaluations and must maintain strict quality benchmarks. This ongoing accountability ensures consistent excellence that you won’t get from uncertified contractors.
Exclusive Benefits You Can’t Get Elsewhere
Preferred Contractor Recognition We receive distinctive certification badges and preferred listings that highlight our advanced qualifications—recognition that uncertified contractors cannot obtain.
Enhanced Project Protection Our certification status can be verified through Deckorators’ official directory, and all Certified Pros are vetted, licensed, and insured professionals providing additional security for your investment.
Superior Installation Expertise for Chicago’s Climate
Chicago’s harsh weather destroys ordinary decks. Our Certified Professional training equips us with specialized techniques for freeze-thaw cycles, high winds, heavy snow loads, and extreme temperatures. We’ve mastered critical installation methods including proper joist spacing for composite materials, thermal expansion management, and moisture control systems that prevent common failures.
Beyond installation, we handle all local building codes, permits, and inspections throughout the North Shore and Chicagoland area—ensuring your deck meets regulatory requirements from day one.
